Laced Hearts

Vihdoin ehdin taas päivittämään blogia :) Laced Hearts biscornu on valmis. Tein tähänkin tupsut nurkkiin, niin sopii kivasti yhteen Elizabethan biscornun kanssa. Muutenkin materiaalit ovat molemmissa samat. Alla kuva molemmista Nancy Pedersonin biscornuista yhdessä. Blackwork -taitoni kaipaavat vielä hiomista, mutta tätä toista oli jo ihan sujuva tehdä!

Edellinen postaukseni herätti keskustelua. Hauska huomata että muutkin ovat pohtineet ristipistoilun hintaa :D Vaikkei harrastukselle tietysti tarkkaa hintaa tarvitse laskeakaan. (Unohdin muuten noista laskelmistani yhden 10 euron ostoksen tänä vuonna.)

Tässä välissä olen pistellyt lahjoja ja tehnyt viimeistelyjä.

Finally have some time to update my blog again! Laced Hearts biscornu is ready. I finished this the same way than Elizabethan biscornu to make a pair, and the materials are also the same. Also took a photo of both Nancy Pederson biscornus together presented below. My blackwork skills still need some work, but this second one was already quite fluent to make!

My last post raised a welcome discussion. Fun to notice that also others have been thinking of the price of cross stitching, although I don't think there's any real need to calculate the exact amount of how much a hobby costs. (By the way, I forgot one 10 euro purchase of my calculations.)

Been stitching mainly gifts and been making some finishing as well.
